Shipping policy
We have a 99.8% delivery success rate - we hand deliver every one of our orders - but very rarely things can go wrong.
You should read and understand our delivery policy before you place an order.
The Small Print
We offer delivery on the following terms, by placing an order via this website you have accepted these terms and our general terms without reservation or amendment.
You are responsible for selecting the correct shipping rate for your order, if you select a rate which is incorrect we reserve the right to hold up fulfilment of your order until we have been able to contact you and charge you the correct shipping rate.
We operate shipping on a best endeavours basis, we will attempt to deliver your order once on your selected delivery date. We only make deliveries into the hands of an adult, we will not leave your delivery at a different address, parcel box etc.
If you have chosen to have delivery made to a third party (hotel, restaurant, etc) then our responsibility ends at the point we hand your cake over to an employee of that third party, we record the time of delivery, we do not collect signatures. Title of goods passes to you at the point of this hand over, we are not responsible for their handling or storage of your goods. We strongly recommend that you ensure that the third party are aware you have arranged a delivery as they might turn us away or not have sufficient space to store your goods.
If you are not in or we cannot find your address we will attempt to contact you via the contact details you have supplied. If the recipient does not answer or is not home to take your delivery we will return it to our shop. It can be collected from there or we will reattempt delivery the next working delivery day.
We will attempt to deliver your item on the date you have requested, however in some very rare circumstances this may not be possible, if this is the case we will attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative date.
